About Me.
Welcome to my world!
I'm Cynthia, also known as Doula Kaiewe.
A Mom of 7 adult children and an active Nana of 6 of the sweetest grandchildren ever!.
I understand the importance of having someone you can trust to effectively help,
answer questions, or refer resources during those first few weeks to months after childbirth.
In my early career, I supported the achievement of children as an
Early Childhood Educator, for Preschool and Pre-K.
I'm inspired by the philosophies and teachings of Magda Gerber, Steiner's Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia.
Utilizing art to inspire creative thinking, interactive communication, and
open-ended, child-directed activities supporting ongoing themes.
I support outdoor play, visiting local libraries, children's museums, community playgrounds,
and natural settings to inspire a child's sense of self, curiosity, and independence.
I'm also a Certified Holistic Doula specializing in Postpartum care,
trained as a Lactation Consultant, Childbirth Educator,
and certified Postpartum Nutrition Specialist.
I'm also a certified Advanced Newborn Care Specialist.
I love supporting families!
I am a team player, confident, adaptable,
and available for a non-traditional schedule.
I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to every family I work with.
